Three non medical cannabis retail stores have City of Castlegar approval

There weren't a lot of concerns raised, so three applications for non medical cannabis retail stores have been approved by the City of Castlegar.

Mayor Bruno Tassone says council provided opportunity for residents to provide their views on the two potential stores on Columbia Avenue, and 17th street.

He says they fit in with the city's bylaws and regulations.

No word on how long it's taking for the province to approve applications.
