Creston Search and Rescue Find Missing Alberta Man

Creston RCMP and the BC Coroner are investigating the death of a Lethbridge man.

Police said Lewis White was found in the Moyie River.

Search and Rescue personnel made the discovery Monday at around 11:30 a.m., close to where his vehicle was found near Yahk a day earlier.

RCMP said police were called after the 33-year-old never arrived at his BC destination.

A Facebook post indicated White was on his way to a family funeral in Grand Forks and hadn't been seen since Thursday.

Creston RCMP issued a public plea on Monday for information regarding the Alberta man's whereabouts before his body was discovered.
