Trail RCMP have asked  to speak with more witnesses to a shooting incident last Friday on Birch Avenue.

Police said officers scared off two masked men shooting at a residence and trying to break down a door in what police believe was a targeted attack just before 5 a.m.

The 37 year old Trail man inside was not injured.

A 35-year-old Trail man was arrested last Saturday after reports of a naked man approaching three teenage girls swimming at Gyro Park.

The girls were safely escorted from the area by a nearby adult after allegedly being yelled at by the suspect.

Police believe alcohol was a factor.

Trail RCMP report a stolen travel trailer has been located.

Police said the beige 2016 single axle 17 foot Starcraft trailer with license plate WEP86G was taken from Highway 3B near the Paulson Pass sometime before 8 p.m. Friday.

The owner’s pick-up truck pulling the trailer was towed away after breaking down and the owner told police the trailer was gone when he came back to get it towed.

A social media post suggested a black Nissan Pathfinder was seen hooking up the trailer at about 6:45 p.m., and police said the trailer was found after being spotted by a witness.

Police said valuable items were removed and the owner reported the traier sustained some damage.

However, the black 2014 Kawasaki motorcycle with BC license plate number W731000 that was also stolen, remains missing.
