Arrests made in shooting on Winnipeg Street


Penticton RCMP have arrested two men believed to be connected to the shooting which took place earlier this week.

It was a crazy Wednesday in Penticton... all went down around noon.

Officers responded to a report of a man having been shot inside a residence in the 400 block of Winnipeg Street. 
The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries, and was taken to hospital. He has since been discharged from hospital.

The investigation led officers to a townhome on Maple Street.

After a standoff with police...Several people were taken into custody... including two men; 32 year old Jesse Mason, and 36 year old Josef Pavlik.

Both charged with breaking and entering a dwelling house with intent to commit an indictable offence. 

Pavlik is also charged with: using a restricted or prohibited firearm to commit a robbery, assault with a weapon and uttering threats.
