Mental Health Week, CMHA Here To Help
This week is Canada’s 69th Mental Health Week and in a global pandemic Denise Butler with the Canadian Mental Health Association Salmon Arm says people are feeling more negative than positive.
“There’s a lot of information and resources that are out there, especially since the pandemic it seems like we've really had this huge insource of different resources and things that folks can do. Sometimes that in itself can feel overwhelming.”
If you feel overwhelmed with trying to find the right resource, Butler says you can call their office and they will assist in your search.
Butler added it’s important to reach out to family and friends right now and to talk honestly about your feelings.
