There is a potential COVID-19 exposure at Caledonia Secondary
Northern Health has issued a report of a potential COVID-19 exposure to Caledonia Secondary School students and staff. This is the fourth school in Terrace to report an exposure to the virus in the past couple of weeks. The lab-confirmed case indicates the potential exposure may have occurred on December 1st and 2nd.
Health Authorities assure the school community that the established safety plan was followed precisely. Therefore, the risk of additional cases is very low. Earlier cases were reported at Suwilaawks Community School, Centennial Christian and Uplands Elementary.
Northern Health follows up directly with anyone identified as a close contact. The school community is encouraged to monitor themselves and their children and to get tested should symptoms appear.
