The partial closure of the Canada-U.S. border will reportedly be extended once again.

CTV News has learned the ban on non-essential traffic will remain in effect until at least the end of November, according to government sources.

The restriction is currently set to expire on Monday.

The partial closure was first put in place in March to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

It has been repeatedly extended since then.
