Is the high cost of university driving students to become sugar babies?
Brock University has made the list of the top 20 schools across the country that have the most sugar babies.
According to the dating site, SeekingArrangement, Brock ranks number 17 on the list when it comes to students who rely on sugar daddies or mommas to help them pay the bills.
The site says "The number of university students in Canada seeking Sugar Daddies and Sugar Mommas rose 44 percent from the previous year. On average, students receive a monthly allowance of $2,925 among other benefits, including networking opportunities and career or business advantages."
The University of Toronto came it at number one, followed by Western University, and the University of Alberta.
The annual cost of post secondary education in Canada is close to $20,000 for students who attend school away from home.
