Niagara IceDogs goalie undergoes second surgery today
On a day where the Niagara IceDogs is making news for player trades, the team also announcing that Tucker Tynan underwent a second surgery this morning.
Team officials say the surgery on their goalie will ensure his muscle is re-attaching properly.
Doctors expect he will make a full recovery.
Tucker is expected back in Niagara within the next 6-8 weeks to begin his rehabilitation.
The goalie suffered a deep cut to his leg following a fluke collision with a players' skate into Tynan's net.
