Tornado flipped truck and destroyed outbuilding in Hamilton Wednesday
A tornado hit Hamilton during yesterday afternoon's storm.
Environment Canada making the confirmation after major damage was reported in the rural area in Flamborough.
The Northern Tornadoes Project, based out of Western University, says their team confirms that a brief tornado caused a narrow path of damage in the Strabane area of Hamilton, ON at 4:30 PM yesterday.
They says an outbuilding was destroyed, a barn roof shifted/damaged, trees snapped, and a truck overturned.
The max wind recorded was 150 km/h.
