Young woman with terminal cancer urges Canadians to vote
An 18 year old Winnipeg woman who is dying of cancer is using her last moments to encourage all of us to vote in Monday's federal election.
In a video posted yesterday to Twitter and Facebook, Madison Yetman is seen in her hospital bed holding up cards with hand-written messages.
The messages explain how she managed to vote from her bed despite having terminal cancer.
The final card carries the hashtag "#WhatsYourExcuse''
This is my last chance to make a difference. Please share this with your network and get out and vote! #whatsyourexcuse @justinpjtrudeau @andrewjscheer @jagmeetsingh @MaximeBernier @liberalca @cpc_hq @ndp @peoplespca @CanadianGreens #cdnpoli #Elxn43 #canpoli pic.twitter.com/xxfXxuOrEf— Maddison (@MaddiYet) October 15, 2019
