Grand Falls suspends door-to-door trick or treating
Trick or treating is prohibited in the Town of Grand Falls for Halloween in 2020.
In a post to the Town of Grand Falls/Ville de Grand-Sault Facebook page Wednesday morning, council says it has taken the decision to protect all citizens during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Council is encouraging visits to family and friends inside household bubbles for Halloween in lieu of traditional trick or treating.
Grand Falls is in the "Yellow Phase" of New Brunswick's COVID-19 recovery plan.
In guidelines issued October 2, Public Health says door-to-door trick or treating is allowed in "Yellow" regions, so long as public health advice is followed.
