Fixing Broken Pottery
Today's DIY was inspired by my Mom. I recently found a note my Mom gave me 5 years ago after a really really tough breakup.
It read: "Janel, Make it Beautiful. When the Japanese mend broken objects they put it back together and fill the damaged cracks with gold. They believe when something has suffered damage and has a history--it becomes more beautiful. What a beautiful analogy for what God does with our brokenness."
ps. this was a gift from my parents that broke in the car on the way home! haha
