The Chamber says the COVID-19 situation cannot be ignored so it has added the 'Resilience and Innovation in Business' category in an effort to highlight the efforts and creativity of entrepreneurs to survive the crisis.

It's the only category in which the public is invited to submit nominations.

Businesses will also be recognized in the usual categories:

  • Young Entrepreneur of the Year,
  • Woman Entrepreneur of the Year,
  • Immigrant Entrepreneur of the Year,
  • Business Excellence - 10 employees or less,
  • Business Excellence - 10 employees or more.

Due to public health measures related to COVID-19, the Chamber says it will organize mini events which will take place simultaneously and will be broadcast live in each event.

Logistics and further details are expected in the coming weeks.

The recognition ceremony is scheduled for October 22nd.
