Nigadoo residents get break on sewer service due to pandemic

news-update

Nigadoo residents are being given a break on some municipal obligations.

The village says in a statement that sewer service will be free from April until June in an effort to help those affected by business closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Residents who have prepaid or who have made pre-authorized payments will receive a credit on a future invoice while interest on amounts due will not be applied until further notice.

Meanwhile, the village has hit pause on distributing dog tags until further notice and says no measures will be taken for those unable to obtain tags by the March 31st deadline.
