Acadie-Bathurst Titan trades captain to Rouyn-Noranda Huskies

The rebuilding process for the 2018 President and Memorial Cup champion Acadie-Bathurst Titan continues.

The Titan have sent captain Noah Dobson to the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies for first round draft picks in 2019 and 2020, a first round selection in 2021 and a second round pick in 2019.

In a deal with the Drummondville Voltiguers the Titan receive defenceman Oliver Turan and a third round pick in 2020 for Defenceman Michal Ivan.

Defenceman Alexis Sansfacon was dealt to the 2019 Memorial Cup host Halifax Mooseheads for a seventh round draft selection in 2020.

To wrap up the 2018-19 QMJHL trade period, the Titan have sent a seventh round selection at the 2020 draft to the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles for 19-year-old blueliner Ian Smallwood.

Meanwhile, general manager Sylvain Couturier and head coach Mario Durocher will meet with fans Monday in the Paul Ouellette Room at the KC Irving Centre.

They'll answer questions from fans and share their plan for putting together another championship team beginning at 6:30pm.
