Bathurst council votes to accept new collective agreement for inside workers
Bathurst council has voted to accept the terms of a new collective agreement it signed with its inside workers last week.
The new deal, signed last Thursday, includes wage increases of 1.6 per cent per year, for five years, for a total of 8 per cent.
Mayor Paolo Fongemie says the workers returned to their jobs on Monday following a lockout that began in July.
The previous contract expired in December of 2016.
