Beresford Curling Club aims to become provincial leader in the curling
The Beresford Curling Club wants to become a provincial leader in curling.
Under its new five-year strategic plan, the club aims to increase its membership from 50 to 70, develop leagues, clinics and tournaments, as well as develop promotion and recruitment strategies.
The club also wants to entice younger players to try the sport.
Players committee president Donald Aube says curling isn't that well known amongst the younger generation which is why partnerships with the region's schools and physical education teachers are being considered.
