After two readings, the House of Commons has ended an emergency session on a 82-billion-dollar deal designed to help Canadians weather the COVID-19 storm.
Government House speaker Pablo Rodriguez announced on Twitter that the House has adopted the support package and says it's now up to the Senate.
Once the bill becomes law, it will deliver 82-billion-dollars in financial aid and tax deferrals to individuals and businesses to help them cope with the economic fallout from the pandemic.
