More charges laid against man arrested during drug, firearms seizure last week

A 26-year-old man is facing additional charges following the seized of drugs, firearms, and cash during the search of homes in Moncton, Steeves Mountain, and Douglas.

Jesse Todd Logue, originally from the Woodstock First Nation, but who was recently living in the Fredericton and Moncton areas, has been charged with several firearms offences.

He was originally charged with two counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and will remain in custody until his next court appearance on September 17th.

Eight people aged 17 to 49 were arrested last week following the execution of five search warrants, though three were questioned and released.

The RCMP say drugs seized are believed to be methamphetamine and cocaine.
