Plane from Moncton Flight College makes emergency landing at airport in Bathurst

The Transportation Safety Board is investigating following an 'incident' at the Bathurst Regional Airport.

A small plane carrying three passengers from the Moncton Flight College was forced to make an emergency landing at the airport Thursday afternoon.

Foul-play and mechanical issues have been ruled out.

There were injuries.

It's the second time in several weeks a plane from the college has been forced to make an emergency landing.

Back in December, an aircraft from the college carrying two passengers was forced to make an emergency landing on Route 8 just outside of Renous.

The passengers were not injured and that incident is also under investigation.
