There's a little relief for some New Brunswick drivers heading into the Thanksgiving Day long weekend.

The experts were right in their predictions of a drop in gas prices and a slight increase in diesel at the pumps this week.

The New Brunswick Energy & Utilities Board reset prices at midnight  and a fill-up of gas will cost you 2.4 cents less per litre and diesel is up just half-a-cent..

The new maximum for regular self-serve gas is $1.19.7 and diesel is now set at $1.34.4.

Many retailers are selling for a few cents less than those prices.
