The Acadie-Bathurst Titan has been having a tough time putting a mark in the win column so far this season.

On Thursday night at the KC Irving Centre, the Quebec Remparts downed the Titan a 3 - 1.

The lone Titan goal was scored by Jeremy Diotte on a power play in the first period, assisted by Shawn Element and Liam Leonard.

Titan netminder Tristan Berube stopped 24 shots.

Berube and Diotte were named Second and Third Stars of the Game respectively.

The loss leaves the Titan sitting 0 - 4 - 1 so far this season.

Head coach Mario Durocher says his squad was dominant in the first period but let things fall apart for the rest of the game.

To start winning games, Durocher, says his players need to be hungrier.

He says he's made it clear to his nine veterans how important they are when it comes to the Titan's success, but adds that, as a group, they're not doing enough.

The Titan will try to turn things around on Saturday when it travels to Saint John to take on the Sea Dogs.

The next home game for the Titan is on Sunday against the Charlottetown Islanders.
