Woodstock bans trick-or-treating during pandemic
It's still about a month away, but the town of Woodstock will not be permitting door-to-door trick or treating for Halloween in 2020.
Mayor Art Slip says residents expressed several concerns about allowing full Halloween events while under a State of Emergency for the COVID-19 pandemic.
There are no plans to limit or cancel Halloween activities in Bathurst yet.
Corporate communications manager Luc Foulem says Bathurst's position is to act in accordance with directives from the province's health department.
