Work on Route 7 begins Monday

Construction Sign

The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DTI) is alerting travelers of the possibility for delays on Route 7 between the Kimble Drive interchange and the City of Fredericton limits.

Starting Monday October 7, work will begin to pave an 8.8 km stretch of roadway in both the eastbound and westbound lanes.

DTI is reminding motorists to reduce their speed and drive safely when entering construction zones.

The Department says it appreciates the public's patience while they complete this work and encourages them to check NB 511 for updates.

DTI says the work should be completed by Tuesday October 29, weather permitting.
