Second degree murder case adjourned until December

news-update

A preliminary hearing date for a Nash Creek man charged with second-degree murder is expected to be set next month.

Mounties attended a home on Route 134 in Nash Creek on an unrelated matter on November 6th.

When they arrived 39-year-old Nathan Meade allegedly told officers he had just shot someone.

Police discovered the body of 39-year-old Scott Devereaux of Belledune behind a shed on the property.

The case has been adjourned until December 19th to give lawyers a chance go go over the file.
