How can I request a song?
There are a couple of ways to go about this:

2) Email our personalities. You can find their email addresses by going to the hosts section of the website
3) Submit your request as a post on our facebook page facebook.com/MOVE100Halifax
4) Text your request to 100 24 7
How long do I have to wait before I can enter one of your contests again?
There is no wait time required to enter. The eligibility rules and specific details for MOVE 100 promotions and contests may vary. So please refer to the official contest rules posted online at MOVE100Halifax.ca for any particular contest MOVE 100 is running.
When and where can I pick up my prize?
If you have won a physical prize (if you are unsure if a prize you've won is physical or digital (ie. an e-gift card, or digital tickets), please check in with your MOVE 100 contact who's been in touch with you about your prize), you can pick it up at the following times each week at the station* (2900 Agricola Street, Halifax, NS, B3K 6A7):
- Wednesdays: 9:00am - 1:00pm
- Fridays: 9:00am - 1:00pm
*Unless stated otherwise by a MOVE 100 representative that you should pickup your prize at another location (ie. event venue for tickets, etc.)
Please contact our Front Desk Coordinator, Katie Lohnes at firstname.lastname@example.org, prior to picking up your prize to ensure it is ready at the station for you.
How long do I have to pick up my prize?
You have 30 days from the day you won to collect your prize unless explicitily stated in the contest rules that your prize must be taken before that timeframe, ie concert tickets to a concert that takes place before the 30 day waiting period.

What is text message or SMS?
SMS or text message is an alphanumeric message that you can send or receive on your cellular phone. Text messaging is a fast and efficient way to inform someone without disturbing her/him. On average, Canadians send 100 Million SMS / day.
How can I send a Text Message to MOVE 100?
Other than calling us, you can send us TEXT messages. Just text the keyword MOVE to 100 24 7 (Standard rates apply to text inquiries) to join from your mobile phone! You can then send a shout out, request a song, tell us what you think of us or just say hi. Our DJs will receive your message and might even read them out on air!
How do stop receiving text messages from MOVE 100?
To exit/chill from any service just send the word STOP to 100 24 7. (Standard rates apply to text inquiries).
What is a shortcode?
It is a 5-6 digit number used by companies instead of the regular 10 digits number. They are easier to remember, and works with all wireless carriers. To send a message to MOVE 100, you have to use the short code 100·24·7 as destination telephone number.
Will the DJ's see my messages?
The Dj will see all the messages on their computer in the studio. They will certainly read your message, and may answer by text message, or even read it live on the air!
Who can see my mobile number?
Your mobile number is kept confidential. It will not be used by anyone without your permission.
How often can I send text message?
For regular chat, there is a maximum number of 25 messages per phone number per day. Contests’ text entries are capped at a maximum of 25/day.

How much does it cost to send a text message?
Standard rates apply to text inquiries sent to 100·24·7 which are invoiced by your wireless carrier directly on your phone bill. It doesn't cost more than to text a friend!
