Explore the science of climate change in a full floor of interactive exhibits centred around youth climate action. Be immersed in learning, building, and testing sustainable solutions that affect our everyday lives. From exploring materials and how we shop, eat, and live to how we connect to our soils, ecosystems, and each other.

    FOUNTAIN HALL STAGE Written by Jeremy Webb Holiday Musical, Comedy, Family If the shoe fits… Based on the age-old tale, Cinderella tells the story of a young woman who longs for a better life away from her menacing stepsisters. To help make her dreams come true, an amateur fairy godmother appears and grants her wish to attend the royal ball. Cinderella is then in a race against the clock to try and find her prince before the spell is broken at the stroke of midnight. Packed full of pop songs, belly-laughs and fun surprises, this show leaves you with the magical feeling of love and joy.

    SCOTIABANK STAGE Featuring Rhys Bevan-John and Simon Henderson By Charles Dickens Adapted for the stage and directed by Jeremy Webb Holiday Classic, Comedy, Family Tradition Celebrating its 20th Season Ebenezer Scrooge is a mean-spirited and selfish old man who hates Christmas. One cold Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future and forced to face his greedy ways. This dramatic re-telling of this holiday classic is often hilarious and sometimes spooky, Dickens’ A Christmas Carol is a classic tale for the whole family. A story about redemption and charity that will warm our hearts. Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim, Bob Cratchit, and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future will remind us with laughter and tears that the true Christmas spirit comes from giving. The show’s creator and original ‘Scrooge’ (Jeremy Webb) will return for a few special anniversary performances this year. The dates are identified as you buy your seats.

The group had eight #1 hits on the European charts, including Daddy Cool, Sunny, Ma Baker, Belfast, Rivers of Babylon, Brown Girl in the Ring, Rasputin, and Mary's Boy Child.

The tops and tails of the 90s provided us with some big time romantic fodder, and some of the greatest romantic anthems of all time. Bring a Valentine, palentine, (or yourself!) for a cozy double-feature of the iconic flicks Ghost (1990) and Romeo + Juliet (1999).

    An annual Spring festival of new works, STAGES focuses on bold and innovative new work that crosses the boundaries of what theatre can be. Call for submissions is open for the 31st annual STAGES Theatre Festival as well as the third-ever EARLY Stages Festival! See spectacular performances by some of Canada's brightest artists including all-female rock band, The Beaches, pop phenom Charlotte Cardin, and the Godfather of Canadian Hip-Hop and new inductee into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, Maestro Fresh Wes. Tegan and Sara will be presented with the 2024 Humanitarian Award by actor and Halifax native, Elliot Page. The party will be hosted by none other than multi-platinum superstar, Nelly Furtado. More artists to be announced.
