Bullet hole under investigation at residence in Quinte West, Ont.

The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating after a bullet hole was found in a window of a local residence.

OPP explained that they got the call on November 4th, 2023 around 7:00 a.m. regarding a complaint of a broken window. Officers attended the scene on Dixon Drive in Quinte West. Police say the damage was believed to have occurred around 3:00 a.m. Further investigation led to the recovery of a bullet.

Anyone with video surveillance or vehicle dash cam footage showing the area around Dixon Drive, from Saturday, November, 4th, 2023, from 2:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. that may have recorded vehicles or pedestrians, is asked to please contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122.
