O-P-P charge woman in connection to death of 16-year-old in March 2021

Ontario Provincial Police in Central Hastings have charged a resident in connection with the death of a 16-year-old male. The deceased was pronounced dead in hospital on March 30th, 2021.

The Central Hastings OPP crime unit has now charged 37-year-old Sarah Voss with:

- Fail to provide the necessities of life-child
- Failure to comply with an undertaking

Voss remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on November 6th in Belleville.

The OPP was unable to confirm evidence that led to the arrest.

The identity of the deceased will not be released.
