Pembroke man arrested attempting car theft on Victoria St.

The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid Criminal Code (CC) charges against an individual after an incident on Victoria Street in Pembroke.
OPP explained that they were called to the area around 8:30 a.m. on November 2nd, 2023, on a report of an individual attempting to enter a vehicle. Officers responded to the call, arriving in the 200 block of Victoria Street. Once at the scene, officers say they determined that mischief had been committed to the vehicle and an arrest was made at the scene.
As a result, the accused, 43-year-old Pembroke resident Chad Corrin was arrested and is now facing the following charges:
- Mischief under $5000
- Failure to comply with a probation order - three counts
OPP says the accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on December 12th, 2023.
