100 deaths from COVID-19 in Leeds, Grenville and Lanark since start of pandemic


Leeds, Grenville and Lanark has reached a grim COVID-19 milestone. 

The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit is reporting two new deaths from COVID-19 in the region. 

This brings the total number of COVID-19 deaths in the area into the triple-digits, hitting 100 since the start of the pandemic. 

On Wednesday, the health unit reported 76 new cases of COVID-19. 

Seven people are in the hospital with the virus, three people are in the intensive care unit, no one is on a ventilator.
