Ontario reports 1,392 people in hospital with COVID-19 and 177 in ICU

Ontario is reporting 1,392 people in hospital with COVID-19 today, and 177 in intensive care.
That's compared with 1,332 hospitalizations and 182 people in ICUs the previous day.
The province recorded 20 more deaths from the virus today, and says three more deaths that occurred more than a month ago have been added to the total count.
Another 4,589 new infections are reported today, but access to PCR testing is restricted.
The scientific director of Ontario's panel of COVID-19 advisers has said wastewater surveillance suggests the province is seeing between 100,000 and 120,000 new cases each day.
About 19 per cent of Ontario's long-term care homes are currently reporting an active COVID-19 outbreak.
