Drake Ranked 4th Highest-Paid Hip-Hop Artist

Drake ranks No. 4 on a list of the highest-paid hip-hop acts of the year, with an estimated $47 million (all figures U.S.) in earnings.

The Canadian rapper is down two spots from last year’s list, which Forbes blames on less touring. (Revenues from his album Scorpion and the Aubrey & the Three Migos tour will be included in next year's rankings.)

Forbes analyzed data from a variety of sources to estimate the pre-tax gross income from touring, record sales, streaming, publishing, merchandise sales, endorsements and other business ventures between June 2017 and June 2018.

At the top of the list is Jay-Z, who raked in $76.5 million. Trailing him are Diddy ($64 million) and Kendrick Lamar ($58 million).

Other rappers in the Top 20 include Kanye West ($27.5 million), Eminem ($23 million), Chance the Rapper ($21.5 million), and Logic ($17 million).

Pitbull ranks No. 8 with a surprising $32 million and rap group Migos is No. 12 with $24.5 million.

And another one!... DJ Khaled is estimated to have made $27 million, placing him at No. 11 ahead of artists like Travis Scott ($21 million) and Lil Wayne ($19 million).
