Drake's 'Views' Tops 3 Billion Streams As 'Hotline Bling' Video Hits 1 Billion Views
Maybe Drake should have named his last album Streams.
According to Music Ally, there have been more than 3 billion streams of the songs on Views on Spotify.
The album was released on Apple Music last April and wasn’t available for streaming on Spotify until mid-May. At Apple Music, Views has been streamed over a billion times.
Drake’s single “One Dance” holds the record for the most-streamed track ever on Spotify — a whopping 924.5 million times.
The second most-streamed song on Views is “Too Good” (426.5 million) followed by “Controlla” (256 million).
Which Drake track isn’t a fan favourite? “Summers Over Interlude” has had a comparatively paltry 23.5 million streams.
The Toronto rapper -- who has had 8.4 billion plays on Spotify so far -- is also the streaming service's top artist, with 36.5 million monthly listeners and 7 million followers.
Drake has another reason to celebrate. The video for “Hotline Bling” recently topped 1 billion views — about a year after it debuted on YouTube.
