Drake Ties Beatles For Number Of Top 10 Songs

Drake has tied The Beatles as the act with the second-highest number of Top 10 songs in the 60-year history of the Billboard Hot 100.

The Canadian rap star has 34 thanks to “No Guidance,” his collaboration with Chris Brown, which debuted at No. 9 on the chart dated June 22.

It is his 12th Top 10 hit as a featured artist; his 19th release to debut in the Top 10; his 96th in the Top 40; and his 194th song to make the Hot 100.

Drake’s latest achievement comes almost exactly 10 years after his first Top 10 track, “Best I Ever Had.” It took Madonna, who leads with 38, 16 years to reach 34 and The Beatles nearly 32 years.

At Monday's celebration of the Toronto Raptors championship win, Drake told the crowd he was bringing OVO Fest back "this year."
