Drake To Executive Produce TV Series About High School
Drake is going back to TV high school.
The Canadian rap superstar, who starred on the Toronto-shot series Degrassi: The Next Generation, is executive producing Euphoria for HBO.
The drama series, based on the Israeli show of the same name, is about the lives of high school students.
Zendaya has a leading role in a cast that includes Maude Apatow, the 20-year-old daughter of director Judd Apatow and actress Leslie Mann.
Drake and his manager, Toronto’s Future the Prince (aka Adel Nur) are among a group of executive producers.
Drake recently reunited with his castmates and went back to his Degrassi roots for the video for "I'm Upset."
Drake played Jimmy Brooks in 145 episodes of Degrassi up until 2009.
