UPDATE: In March 2022, The Blast and RadarOnline reported that a settlement in this case was reached before trial and French Montana was dismissed from the lawsuit.
French Montana has been accused of drugging and assaulting a woman at his home two years ago.
According to documents obtained by The Blast, a woman identified only as Jane Doe claims she was “sexually assaulted, sexually harassed” by the rap star and “sexually assaulted, sexually harassed and raped” by his employee Mansour Bennouna.
The alleged incident took place March 28, 2018 in Hidden Hills, California. After taking a shot with the defendants, the woman said she blacked out. She claimed to remember “several men coming in and out of the bedroom” and believes Montana “was one of the men who entered the room and sexually assaulted her.”
The woman said she “regained consciousness” in the afternoon with Bennouna “spooning” her and felt confusion and physical pain. She claims she fled the house “crying hysterically because she felt that she had been drugged and raped.”
The lawsuit states a rape kit was done at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center and she filed a report with police.
The woman is suing Montana (whose real name is Karim Kharbouch), Bennouna and Coke Boy Records for assault and battery, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligent hiring, supervision and retention, and negligence.
She alleges Montana and his friend had “a longstanding practice” of supplying women with drinks and drugs “with the purpose of engaging in sexual acts with them, without any regard to whether or not they consented, or were able to consent.”
Last November, Montana was rushed to hospital after police officers who responded to an alarm at his home noticed that he “seemed out of it," TMZ reported.
Montana, 35, has not commented on the legal action or the allegations, which have not been tested in court.
