A young girl in Saskatchewan will never forget the night she got hugged by Garth Brooks.
“He called me onto the stage and I was crying,” Camille Baragar told CTV News, “and he hugged me, told me to stay strong and that he loved me.
“It was very inspirational because I do get bullied a lot and so to have someone famous and them telling you that, that really matters.”
Brooks spotted the 11-year-old in the crowd at Regina’s Mosaic Stadium holding a sign that read “Bullied But Not Broken” and asking him to sing his 1993 hit “Standing Outside the Fire.”
