Grey Cup Halftime Show To Feature 3 Country Stars

Country stars Jordan Davis and Tyler Hubbard will be joined by Canada’s own Josh Ross to perform the halftime show at the 109th Grey Cup later this month.

The trio will take the stage at Mosaic Stadium in Regina on Nov. 20.

“It’s always great to play in Canada, and I can’t wait to soak in the energy and vibe of Grey Cup,” Davis said, in a release. “Canadian music fans are some of the best in the world. Playing for them, especially with Tyler and Josh, will make for an incredibly special night that I’ll never forget.”

Hubbard, who has performed in Canada many times as half of Florida Georgia Line, said he is anxious to return. “I love playing in Canada because the fans always bring a great energy to the shows,” he said, in a release, “so performing my music for the country music fans and for the passionate football fans is going to be quite an experience!”

Ross, an Ontario native, will see two childhood dreams come true. “Growing up, football was everything, and like so many young Canadians, the Grey Cup was the goal,” he explained, in a release. “Injuries led me on a different path, and now, music is my greatest passion and the stage is where I’m living my dreams.

“So to see these two paths come together, and lead to Saskatchewan – life is funny sometimes, but it’s also perfect.”

The Twisted Tea Grey Cup Halftime Show line-up is made possible through the CFL’s partnership with Universal Music Canada.

The game will be broadcast on TSN and RDS (whose parent company Bell Media owns this website) on Nov. 20 beginning at 6 p.m. ET.
