Harry Styles Postpones 1st Leg Of Tour To 2021
Harry Styles has bumped the first leg of his Love On Tour to 2021 due to COVID-19.
“Anyone who knows me, knows that performing has always been my favourite part of working in music,” he wrote in a message shared on social media. “However, during times like these, the safety and protection of touring crew, fans, and everyone else around the world is an immediate priority.”
Styles has postponed the UK and European leg of the tour, which was due to kick off April 15 in Birmingham, England. The 25-city trek will now begin Feb. 12 in Bologna, Italy and wrap up on March 30, 2021 in Moscow.
“Tickets already purchased will be valid for these shows,” the singer explained. “In the meantime, we will be closely monitoring the situation around the world and will continue updating you in the months to come.”
No announcement has been made yet about the North American leg of the Love On Tour, which is scheduled to start June 6. Styles is scheduled to perform June 30 in Montreal, July 3 and 4 in Toronto and Aug. 23 in Vancouver.
“For the safety of yourself and others, please self-isolate. We’re all in this together,” Styles told fans.
“I can’t wait to see you out on the road as soon as it’s safe to do so. Until then, treat people with kindness.”
