Jimmie Allen, Wife Alexis Announce Separation

Jimmie Allen and his wife Alexis, who is expecting their second child, have split.

“After much thought and reflection in recent months, Lex & I have the decision to separate,” the 37-year-old country star wrote in a message he shared on Instagram. “As we navigate this life change, we can also share that we will be welcoming another child together later this year.

“Our number one priority is and always will be ensuring that our children are healthy, happy and loved, and we remain committed to co-parenting with love and respect for one another.”

Allen ended his message with a request for privacy.

The pair were last photographed in public together attending February's MusiCares Persons of the Year gala.

The pair started dating in early 2019 and tied the knot in May 2021 in front of family members and friends – including country stars Darius Rucker and Tyler Rich – at the Lake House Inn in Perkasie, about 56 km north of Philadelphia.

They have daughters Naomi, 3, and Zara, 16 months. (Allen also has eight-year-old son Aadyn from a previous relationship).
