Justin Bieber Breaks Record Set By Elvis Presley

Justin Bieber has become the youngest artist to earn seven No. 1 albums, breaking a record set nearly 60 years ago by Elvis Presley.

The 25-year-old Canadian’s album Changes debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart dated Feb. 29, which will be published Tuesday.

All five of Bieber’s studio albums went to No. 1, as did 2011’s Never Say Never: The Remixes and 2013’s Believe Acoustic.

The seventh Presley album to hit No. 1, Blue Hawaii, was released when he was 26. (Bieber turns 26 on March 1.)

Changes had the third-biggest week so far this year behind Eminem’s Music to Be Murdered By and Halsey’s Manic. Bieber’s first new album since 2015’s Purpose got a boost from a redemption offer included with tickets to his upcoming tour as well as merchandise bundles.

Bieber will kick off the North American tour in May and will be home in Canada for concerts on Sept. 1 in Ottawa, Sept. 3 in Quebec City, Sept. 10 in Toronto and Sept. 14 in Montreal.
