Lady Gaga announced this past weekend that her Chromatica Ball mini-tour is being bumped to next summer due to COVID-19.
“We've been working hard to figure out the safest and soonest way to bring this show to you, but most importantly want everyone to be healthy and able to dance together at the shows as we always have,” she explained in an Instagram post.
“I can't wait to see you there! Keep dancing at home in the meantime.”
Gaga announced in early March that the Chromatica Ball would roll into Toronto’s Rogers Centre on Aug. 9, 2020. The new date is Aug. 16, 2021. It is the only Canadian show and the pop star's first in Toronto since 2017.
A few weeks after announcing the shows, Gaga told fans she was delaying the April 10th release of Chromatica due to COVID-19 but added: “I also definitely plan to see you on the road for my Chromatica Ball tour this summer.”
Chromatica was released on May 29.
