Lil Baby Arrested On Drug Charge In Paris: 'I'm Good'
Lil Baby was arrested Thursday in Paris and charged with transporting narcotics.
"I'm good," he tweeted shortly after being released from custody on Friday.
The 26-year-old rapper, whose real name is Dominique Jones, was in the French capital to attend Paris Fashion Week with NBA star James Harden.
According to Le Parisien, police officers searched a vehicle that smelled heavily of marijuana at about 4:50 p.m. local time. Approximately 20 grams of marijuana was allegedly found in the passenger compartment.
Video shot by a witness shows officers searching three men.
Paris police retweeted the video and said "the check of the vehicle, in which there were 3 people who were taken to the police station, was justified by an offense."
Lil Baby was charged with drug possession in the U.S. in 2012, 2013 and 2014 and spent two years behind bars.
