Pop veterans Pet Shop Boys on Wednesday released “Dreamland,” a track featuring Years & Years.
“So pleased to have released our new song with @yearsandyears today,” read a tweet from Pet Shop Boys. “Hope you all like it.”
PSB singer Neil Tennant, 65, shares vocals with Years & Years frontman Olly Alexander, 29.
“It was a dream come true to create something with two of my heroes,” Alexander shared on social media, “and spending time with Chris [Lowe] and Neil was an absolute joy. I had to pinch myself repeatedly !! They’re such an iconic band, with so many great songs!”
The track is the first from Pet Shop Boys’ forthcoming new album – the duo’s 14th studio album and first since 2016’s Super.
On the same day they dropped the song, Pet Shop Boys announced a seven-city UK tour next spring.
