Meat Loaf is going to be spending some time in Vancouver this summer.
The 69-year-old Bat Out of Hell rocker has joined the cast of Ghost Wars, a new series for the U.S. cable channel Syfy.
Ghost Wars, which is scheduled to shoot in B.C. until September, is set in a remote Alaskan town and follows a battle to save humans from an invasion.
The series stars Vincent D’Onofrio as well as Canadian actors Kim Coates, Avan Jogia, Kristin Lehman, Elise Gatien.
Meat Loaf is no stranger to working in Canada. He made the 2014 flick Stage Fright in Ontario and appeared in a 2000 episode of the made-in-Vancouver series The Outer Limits.
