Meghan Trainor Gets Surprised By Dr. Phil During 'Carpool Karaoke'
Meghan Trainor screamed when her idol Dr. Phil surprised her during the taping of her Carpool Karaoke segment.
Only moments earlier, the pop star told James Corden how big of a fan she is of the daytime TV star.
“I’ve seen every single episode multiple times,” said Trainor. In fact, one of her brothers got her tickets to a taping of Dr. Phil for her 26th birthday last month. She said sitting in the studio audience "was the greatest day of my whole life.”
In the segment that aired on Thursday’s episode of The Late Late Show, Dr. Phil dishes out some life advice from the back seat, sings along to “All About That Bass” and even gets in a plug for Trainor's new album.
During her ride with Corden, Trainor also shared details of her first date with Daryl Sabara, whom she ended up marrying in 2018. Asked about married life, Trainer gushed: “It’s so fun and I recommend it to everyone.”
Watch Trainor and Corden singalong to her hits, including “Like I’m Gonna Lose You,” “Nice to Meet Ya” and “Funk,” below:
