Nicki Minaj marked the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday by handing out turkeys on Wednesday.
The rap superstar joined NYPD officers in giving away more than 500 turkeys to residents of the South Jamaica community.
“Who says rappers don’t give back to the neighbourhood they come from?,” read a tweet from the 113th Precinct in Queens.
Minaj was born in Trinidad and Tobago but moved to Queens when she was a child.
She tweeted Wednesday to the NYPD: “Thank you guys for holding us down.”
