Portugal. The Man Tour Bus Bursts Into Flames
A tour bus for Portugal. The Man burst into flames in Iowa on Tuesday.
“Our crews were able to knock the fire down quickly,” read a tweet from the Iowa City Fire Department. No one was injured.
The bus was parked outside a concert venue on the campus of the University of Iowa when fire broke out in the heating and cooling system on the roof of the bus.
“Our tour bus caught fire,” the band’s manager Rich Holtzman told EW. “That’s how hot this band is right now!”
The incident did not impact the “Feel It Still” band’s concert. Portugal. The Man performs Feb. 21 in Montreal.
